Hello Namaste
I’m Rakshak Manandhar, born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, in a family rooted in both commerce and ambition—surrounded by merchants, but equally by dreamers and doers. I studied engineering, and today I carry forward a family legacy that began in 1971, while also shaping it in my own way.
My Story
I am currently involved in businesses across multiple sectors—from diamonds, gold, and silver through NLG Jewellers and Hera International Pvt. Ltd., to curating travel experiences with Globetrotter Hermes Pvt. Ltd. Alongside this, I am deeply committed to preserving and promoting Nepal’s ancient craftsmanship through Himalayan Hands.
At heart, I’m someone who values heritage, but is always looking ahead. Outside of work, I’m a passionate fan of football and Formula 1—drawn to the discipline, precision, and pursuit of excellence they represent.
I love to Travel, for me, it is more than movement—it is a way of learning, observing, and absorbing the world. Every place, every culture, every interaction adds a layer of understanding that shapes both how I think and how I build. I’m constantly inspired by what the world has to offer, and I try to bring that perspective back into everything I do.
Beyond business, I am a member of the Rotary Club of Kasthamandap, where I value the opportunity to contribute to community service and meaningful social impact, staying connected to a larger purpose beyond work.
